Every ink in the Formula of Life collection comes in one size: an 80ml bottle.

It is a big bottle on purpose. The ink is for people who actually write, and we would rather you had more than enough.

Raw Formula ink is developed and bottled in Thailand.

Yes. It is a water-based fountain pen ink, easy to write with and easy to rinse out, so it suits beginners as much as daily journalling or professional use. Every colour comes in an 80ml bottle.

Yes. The Formula of Life collection is water-based fountain pen ink. It is safe to use in any fountain pen.

Yes. Dip pens, glass pens and brushes all work. Rinse them in water after use and the colour lifts away completely, which makes the ink well suited to calligraphy and other art projects.

Flush the pen with water until it runs clear. Raw Formula's fountain pen ink is water-based, so it cleans out easily with water.

If the pen has sat unused for months, soak the nib section in water, then flush again.

We ship worldwide from Thailand. Orders usually leave us within 1-2 business days.

Thailand: 2–4 business days
Rest of world: 4–14 business days

Every order ships with a tracking number.

Every bottle is sealed, bagged and cushioned before it goes into the parcel box, and we check each one before it leaves us.

Ink travels a long way from Thailand, and we would rather over-pack than have a bottle arrive damaged. If one does, send us a photo with your order number and we will replace it.

Tell us as soon as you can. If your order has not shipped, write to us with your order number and the correct address and we will update it.

Once it is with the carrier we cannot recall it. If the parcel comes back to us undelivered we will get in touch and work out the options with you. If it is delivered to the address given and does not come back, we cannot replace or refund it.

You have 30 days from the date of your order to request a return.

Unopened bottles can be sent back in their original packaging. Return postage is yours unless the item was faulty or we sent the wrong item.

If anything arrives faulty, damaged or wrong, we replace it and cover the cost.

Write to us within 30 days with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we will replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer.
